Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer: Progress, Promises and Pitfalls; A Tail (Tale) of Nihilism No More

At the end of this presentation, attendees will be able to adjust for the impact of COVID-19 in order to:
– Outline the process for the diagnosis of metastatic (Stage IV) non-small cell lung cancer and give examples of how different therapeutic interventions have dramatically changed the clinical outcomes and prognosis in Stage IV non-small cell lung cancer.
– Describe the benefits of early lung cancer screening to detect Stage I-II non-small cell lung cancers.
– Recognize the paradigm-shifting changes in the management of Stage II-III non- small cell lung cancer.
– Distinguish between lung cancer symptoms and other diagnoses.
