NPAO Queen’s Park Day

November 15, 2023 @ 8:00 am 5:00 pm

As a part of Nurse Practitioner Week and in support of our ongoing advocacy efforts, NPAO will host a Queen’s Park Day in Toronto on November 15th.

A Queen’s Park Day is an opportunity for our organization to be present at the legislature of Ontario and meet with MPPs and decision-makers of all political partisanship to develop relationships and share our concerns.

We would be thrilled to have the support and participation of our members on this day of advocacy. It is an excellent opportunity to share your experiences with our province’s decision-markers.

If you are interested in participating, please complete our expression of interest form. A member of the NPAO team will be in touch to confirm your participation and finalize participation.

Expected Itinerary:

  • 8:00 – 9:30 AM: Breakfast at Queen’s Park with MPPs and Staff
  • 10:00 – 11:00 AM: Question Period in the Legislature
  • 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM: Meetings with MPPs

There will also be an orientation training session taking place virtually the week before the Queen’s Park Day. This session is important to attend as we will review best practices and key messaging for the day of. More information will be provided following your confirmation.
