About the speaker:
Delanya Podgers is the Nurse Practitioner for Asthma and COPD at Kingston Health Sciences Centre. She received her Masters in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner Certification form Athabasca University and is a Certified Respiratory Educator. Her practice encompasses obstructive airways disease with an emphasis in severe asthma. Current areas of research include efficacy of remote patient monitoring and education in COPD and the effects of health literacy on patient outcomes and healthcare utilization.
