Speaker: Jessica Bawden – Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner
Speaker Bio: Jessie Bawden is a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner (PHC-NP) working in family practice. She completed her BscN at McGill University and started her career in Obstetrics at BC Women’s Hospital in Vancouver. She then went on to complete the PHC-NP program at Queen’s University and then a Master’s in Science at the University of Ottawa. As an NP, Jessie has worked with marginalized populations while practising at an urban Community Health Centre and with youth at a Toronto sexual health clinic. In addition to her current full-time position at an academic FHT, she consults as Health Care Ambassador for Church and Dwight Canada and is so pleased to be able to speak to their products at health care conferences around Canada.
