An overview of the WSIB process for submitting forms and billing.
Speaker:
Dr. Kianda Mauch DNP, NP-Adult, NP-PHC, ONP, FNP (BC), ANP (BC)
Kianda graduated from Yale University in 2004 with a Masters of Nursing Science,
Adult Nurse Practitioner, and Oncology Nurse Practitioner degrees. She now holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice. Kianda is currently licensed to practice in most provinces in Canada and 2 US States. Kianda holds board certifications for 2 specialties in the United States, and dual certification in Ontario.
Kianda is dedicated to improving the health, wellness, and quality of life of her patients, empowering them to participate in their own care. She is an excellent coach and mentor, as well as an expert facilitator, teacher, and program planner.
Kianda has taught in the areas of nursing research, statistics, and theory as well as pain assessment and management in both undergraduate and graduate programs the college and university levels. She has held positions with Ryerson University, the University of Toronto, and Laurentian University. As well Kianda continues to teach and mentor Nurse Practitioner students and peers.
Kianda’s research portfolio includes receiving more than $100 000.00 in research funding. Her commitment to excellence has led to numerous accomplishments including publications and presentations of her work and research regionally, nationally, and internationally.
Her volunteer work has included time serving as a Board of Directors member for Sigma Theta Tau, Action Neuropathic Pain, and the Nurse Practitioner Association of Canada.
