Your Patients are Using Cannabis: Here’s What you Need to Know: A Conference for Primary Care Providers Thunder Bay

February 28 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

$25 – $40

There has been a huge surge and interest in medicinal cannabis over the past year. It’s important for NPs to come together to gain a better understanding of Medicinal Cannabis and how it affects your patients and your practice.

With the success of this similar conference in Toronto, NPAO will be taking this conference to Thunder Bay.

Join your colleagues at NPAO’s medicinal cannabis conference being held in Thunder Bay on Friday, February 28, 2020.

This conference will bring together local and national experts to present, engage and discuss the following topics:

  • The Cannabinoid System
  • Cannabis and Mental Health
  • Use of Cannabis in Pain Management
  • Insomnia and PTSD
  • Alternative uses – for example nausea, seizures
  • How do Primary Care Providers help their patients gain access to medical cannabis, the types of products and how to educate your patient as to what to purchase
