Speaker: Adrienne Barker, MN, PHC-NP

Adrienne is an NP who recently began working at the Waterloo Region NPLC in Breslau, ON.  Prior to this, Adrienne spent the bulk of their 10 year NP career in a variety of palliative care settings working as an NP and manager of the Waterloo-Wellington palliative home care team and as the initial Director of Care at Hospice of Waterloo Region which opened in March 2021.  They have a passion for palliative and primary care and they feel privileged to be able to work with individuals at the end of life, the beginning of life and everything in between!  When not working, they happily raise their 2 children with their partner in New Dundee, ON, enjoy experimenting in the veggie patch and cheering on the Leafs and the Blue Jays.
