Description
The second part of this webinar series will review the different methodologies and offerings of Non-Invasive Prenatal Screening in Ontario. In addition, the presentation will review what NIPS/NIPT can screen for outside of traditional prenatal screening for Trisomies 13, 18 and 21.
Objectives
Enable clinicians to distinguish between the different NIPS/NIPT offerings
Understand the benefits and/or limitations of utilizing one NIPS/NIPT technology over another in specific clinical situations

Kate Gardiner, Senior Manager of Clinical Services (C)CGC
Originally from Toronto Canada, Kate Gardiner has been certified by both the Canadian Association of Genetic Counsellors (CAGC) and the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) for the past 10 years. As a genetic counsellor, she has had experience in Australian, Canadian and American healthcare systems, in hospital, private and laboratory settings, in the fields of preconception, prenatal, pediatric, adult and cancer genetics. She has been employed by LifeLabs for the past eight years, currently as the Senior Manager of Clinical Services
